About Broadway & Longton East

The neighbourhood team have provided the following description of their work:

This area of the city joins together the communities of Longton and Meir and is made up of many residential areas and a number of small industrial units.

With the A50 trunk road running along the edge of the community the area has excellent links with the rest of the city.

Longton Park, also known as Queen's Park, is famous for its trees, horticulture and lakes. It has a very individual character and is one of the city's heritage parks. It houses a range of buildings including the clock tower and three bowling pavilions.
