The neighbourhood team have provided the following description of their work:

This is a mainly residential community made up of mainly semi detached council built properties.

High Lane is the main road which runs through the community and it links the most northerly areas of the city with the city centre.

The Haywood Hospital has recently been rebuilt in the community which also provides a NHS Walk In centre to provide urgent non-emergency medical support for the community.
