Romsey Town beat is a market town that consists of shops, banks, hotels, restaurants and pubs and the residential wards of Cupernham, Halterworth, Woodley and Whitenap make up the surrounding beat area.
Romsey was home to the late Lord Mountbatten and lies on the River Test.

The beat is covered by the Romsey Neighbourhood Policing team, assisted by special constables who are passionate about reducing crime and ASB, protecting vulnerable people and targeting those who commit crime.
