This Safer Neighbourhood area covers Kirk Hallam and Hallam Fields. It belongs to the Ilkeston policing section.

Kirk Hallam is situated a mile from Ilkeston town centre and is divided into two parts by the main road which runs directly through its centre. This road links Kirk Hallam closely with the town of Sandiacre on the Nottinghamshire border and Spondon, which is on the outskirts of Derby City.
