This Safer Neighbourhood area covers Heanor and Loscoe. It belongs to the Amber Valley Local Policing Unit.
 
Heanor is a small market town situated on the top of a hill with Loscoe, a neighbouring village, approximately one and a half miles from the town centre. It has a wide variety of shops and market days are held every Friday and Saturday. It also boasts a very picturesque memorial park.
