This Safer Neighbourhood area covers Buxton town. It belongs to the High Peak Local Policing Unit.

Buxton is a historic spa town located within the High Peak Borough Council area, approximately 20 miles north of Matlock and 12 miles south of Glossop. It has many buildings of architectural interest, the University of Derby Campus at the former Devonshire Hospital and the Opera House being examples. Tourism is an important feature in the revenue of the area.
